Yesterday C-Span kicked off its “Supreme Court Week” with a range of different programs on the US Supreme Court. The background is of course the fact that the new associate justice on the court, Justice Sonia Sotomayor, was confirmed by the US Senate on 6 August 2009 and subsequently sworn in on 8 August 2009.
