International Law Observer welcomes new author

We are glad to announce that the team of authors here on International Law Observer has expanded further. Dr Jan Kittrich, M.C.L., currently a lecturer in international law and international security at the department of politics at the University of Hradec Králové (Hradec Králové, Czech Republic), is our latest enforcement. He finished his PhD under the supervision of Professor Eibe Riedel in early 2008; the thesis entitled “The Right of Individual Self-Defense in Public International Law” was published recently. Jan’s research interest lays with public international law, in particular the law of armed conflict, international security, and international relations. The current authors are glad to welcome him to the team and we are looking forward to some inspirational and creative blogging.
