CfP, 12th Annual International Law Conference, titled ‘The Use of Language in International Law’

The Cambridge International Law Journal (CILJ) is currently accepting paper proposals for the 12th Annual International Law Conference, titled ‘The Use of Language in International Law’. The conference will be held in-person at the Faculty of Law of the University of Cambridge from 24-25 April 2023.

The call for papers is at http://cilj.co.uk/call-for-papers-12th-annual-conference-of-the-cambridge-international-law-journal/). Authors who present at the Conference may also be invited to submit their papers for consideration for the dedicated conference issue of CILJ, to be published in December 2023.

I work at the Norwegian Center for Human Rights of the University of Oslo. Previously I have worked at the Amsterdam Center for International Law of the University of Amsterdam and the Netherlands Institute of Human Rights of Utrecht University, the Netherlands. During the last over twenty years I have done research, published and taught in the areas of international human rights, international humanitarian law, international criminal law, and public international law at universities in the Netherlands, US, China, Albania, Kosovo, North Macedonia, and Norway.
