27–29 September 2023: ‘UN World Conference on Human Rights in Vienna 1993 – Strengthening Imperatives 30 Years After’

The Ludwig Boltzmann Institute of Fundamental and Human Rights and the Institute for Constitutional and Administrative Law of the University of Vienna have the pleasure to invite you to the international conference ‘UN World Conference on Human Rights in Vienna 1993 – Strengthening Imperatives 30 Years After’ which will take place from 27 to 29 September in Vienna.

The conference, which is organised in cooperation with several international and national research institutions, as well as various ministries, will provide participants with an interdisciplinary forum to reflect on past achievements, discuss current challenges, and give an outlook on future challenges in international human rights protection 30 years after the adoption of the Vienna Declaration on Human Rights and its Programme of Action. The conference is relevant for both academics and representatives of practice and civil society.
