New author on International Law Observer

With an entry on the upcoming advisory opinion on the legality of Kosovo`s independence a new author, Maja Smrkolj, has made her debut here on International Law Observer. Maja is a research fellow at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative Public Law and International Law in Heidelberg, Germany. Her areas of expertise are mainly the various fields of EC- and EU-law, but she also brings to the table a sound knowledge on issues relating to public international law, especially international law of treaties. The current authors are very proud to have her join the team and we are sure all our readers will thoroughly enjoy her entries.
